Presently the company is purchasing fresh cocoa pods from farmers of North Kanara, Shimoga and Davangere districts and has an associated curing centre at Shimoga.

We have initiated the cultivation of Cocoa project with buy- back arrangements. Our project includes building a high tech Cocoa processing centre at Shimoga with a capacity of 500 metric tonnes per annum.  We are promoting Cocoa cultivation mainly as inter crop in Areca nut & Coconut gardens.

Vanadurgi Foundation is coordinating activities between the company and the farmers through various programs. The company is providing farmers free seedlings, organic inputs and technical guidelines for cultivation.

The growers are given the maximum possible bonus price for organic cocoa .The plantations are certified by Ecocert and Aditi Organic Certifying agency.
